He’s already started to turn on his mum as she’s on it when it comes to school (which has definitely been good for him and he’ll thank her one day). He’s still ok with me. Probably because I’ve always secretly sided with him against his mum and we’re mates as well as father and son.
Being mates is the key. They can then come to you with any issues I take it you and his mjm are separated? If so mate be careful about siding. It can be a pain when they are older and wiser Tbf usually its the mums that use it for their own purposes whilst kids are young then are left crying many years later
