As above, you'll pay tax according to you tax code on your first job (depending on your salary) with the first £11k tax free. Then on your second job your tax code will be BR (basic rate) at 20%
@Commachio just make sure your current employer doesn't have a conflict of interest clause in your contract cos sometimes they'll bin you if you do a second job. Tax wise don't worry about it until you hit 45k. Didn't you used to be a site mgr in Thailand? You must know your stuff, they're taking 40k no bother down here before overtime, SMSTS costs about £500 you can blag the rest.
