I've not got that much I can do either, I'm on top of everything more or less. Got to start compiling a huge O&M file but I'm avoiding that, it needs to be delegated! By the sound of it I'm stuck here till Saturday.
One of the site managers was buzzing when we said send all the lads home and then he got told he had to stay on til 4 until security arrived
****ing bonkers this weather bollocks. We've shut site here and most have gone home, including some of the lads going back to Wales. I've stayed, my site manager, foreman, QS and a supervisor have stayed. We literally haven't got a clue whether we'll be able to get home tomorrow although right now everything is fine. If I make a dart for it I could get stuck in it, or I could end up making it and then having to spend a day in our head office, which I can't be arsed to do. So, to sum up, we're all going to the pub at five and letting it all pan the **** out. Fingers crossed, eh?

I've got a day off, but have to tale some paperwork in for the new job i start next week. Then off into magland tomorrow night to see Suggs (madness) if it doesnt get cancelled.
Already said I'd cover if need be. Never know when you might need a favour. I'm supposed to be off but I live ten minutes walking distance away and I know there's people who will struggle to get in.
