Do you know a thing or two about palms ? I'm after another one for my front garden after my one died. Been looking at bottle palms, but have no idea if it's suitable for my garden ?
Basically if the garden centres are selling them they should be ok. But some are harder than others, but your weather is a lot milder. I like red bamboo tree.
Yep we've got a sub-tropical climate down here. I had a palm, **** knows what it was called, but a bit like the picture you posted. It grew quite tall, around 10ft and just had a topping of those pointy leaves (sorry layman talk) and then the ****er just died for no apparent reason. Would like something that grows tall with little spread as I don't want to block the light out.
I think they just naturally die off. Cordlyne are also know as torquay palms (or someit like that) perfect for your wearher. The red dont get as big as the green more random comm ****.
Yes I am, this is where you're supposed feel sorry for me, I also have a hairline receding so far back it witnessed the big bang
I've been doing some serious research....and I've found a few spots that were recommended. Last night I couldn't be arsed...going to pop out to tonight. There's a canal walk a stone throw away....I'm going there tonight...it had Graffiti on the wall saying ' I can smell your happiness from here' I reckon that's the spot. If not I'm off to risk getting bummed and going to 'Flex'
