Taking the old dear out for lunch today. Her mobility is really poor these days, so it's a mission getting her in and out of the house, in and out of the car, in and out of the restaurant etc Have a feeling this could be my last mother's day with her. Look after your mum lads.
^^^ Just get somebody else to take her next year Pinks if you're saying you can't be arsed with the hassle.
Or just stay in and get fish and chips or something and everyone’s happier. Football on and her asleep in the armchair > being surrounded by other ****s and their screaming kids. Too late now to change your plans probably.
Some dickhead going around the pub sitting with groups of people sat with us eventually and then got a bit full of himself. Got told to **** off somewhere else didn't like it.
Make the most of it mate, because if it's like this over Easter, you'll get the annual invasion of tourists. Although looks a fair few cars down there.
That car park is a nightmare from Easter onwards. It's packed from 8am and folk still drive in looking for spaces, then it all gets snarled up and they start losing their rag. I park up here near where this pic is taken and walk down. Which is a bitch carrying a surfboard, but worth it to avoid the mele. Still, I don't mind them being here as they are my customers in the summer.
A crushing 6-5 defeat to open the new six-a-side season. Made less crushing by the fact we were probably three goals worse than them. Made more crushing by having the ball for one last chance to stick it in the mixer last kick of the game and chipping it over the bar instead.
