Just avoid La Rambla completely imo and you'll still have to be careful but it's not so bad. La Rambla is a terrible part of a beautiful city imo.
Yes, I think I recommended to Luv in the first place, iirc. There's more than one, the one I went to couple of times was up the Gracia area. I concur on Las Ramblas, bit of a ****hole tbh. The Bocquaria market just off it is worth a look round though, but usually uncomfortably packed. Going in Feb should help though, will be less busy all round.
The one I've been to is the Taverna one. Was a mate of mine's 'local', nice place that one. Looks like there's a new one at Placa Catalunya, that's another mad busy area at the top of Ramblas so one to probably avoid.
