I use cash as much as possible. When or if get a payment in my account it all comes out usually in one go. I've always been like that cos **** banks making money off mine and also they can see what you spend on, something else I don't like the idea of all. Any work payments I get via bank transfer goes to her account anyway and **** her
We had a power cut down here recently, and I was down in the shed getting my generator, jackery power bank, headtorch, gas stove etc lol I'm just one of those people who likes to stay prepped in case something goes tits up.
and yeah I've got big bags of rice and tinned food in the shed too coz we all knows what happens when people panic buy bog rolls.
They owed the EU money and then locked all the banks until anyone with over 100k had to chip in to pay
Peej is right, the rules are there to protect customers, as well as you can't just rock up and expect a branch to have x amount of money available. You can withdraw what you like as long as you adhere to the timescales. If you want to move large sums to a different bank, you don't need to do it, they can do an internal transfer for you. If you are depositing and withdrawing large sums of money, you would raise suspicions, the employees are all trained to identify that....either someone could be pressurising you or you are money laundering...or tax evasion. Technically you could be money laundering when taking cash in hand jobs, you don't know where your customers got their large sums of cash from... From AI: Trigger events: Even for low-risk customers, a bank may review their information if there's a significant change like a new address, large transactions, or suspicious activity. I think all customers have to be checked every three years, you might come into an earlier category, as you are running a business...if you try and divert it to another account to cover your tracks, your bird will be doing jail time to.
I love the blokes who now make a point of paying by cash as if everyone doing it with a card or phone are morons who will eventually have their whole life ruined when the robots take over.
Maybe, we don't know but the blokes with that look when they pay with their nice Monopoly money know, they really know.
