Couple of old friends coming here this weekend, lost touch with them over many years and when we have met up it's a bit awkward not a lot in common. Looking forward to it.
Eugh I don’t mind company but I’m at that age now where I realised I don’t need this **** and I am actually very happy and comfortable in my own company, I often swerve meetin up with my mates, my family members some of them, don’t chat to people from work out of work, don’t do social media other than this place. nowt worse and uncomfortable than talking about something you have no interest in…I wouldn’t punish my soul, I love myself too much I hope you think back to this post about 10 minutes into meeting them
I'm similar to you, Mrs luv not so much. I'll put up with it at times but I'll refuse most of the time and do what I want.
It’s actually quite fun at times. Sometimes not. Get a lot of time off, it’s not life and death and the money is decent for the hours I do. Fewer meetings than I pretend to have and get to do some cool stuff occasionally.
