Morning - no snow - temperatures have risen - but strong winds and heavy rain ... ... rather have snow!
My Internet been down since this morning, called up and some fault with the line outside engineer booked to come out. Already complained about paying for no service, last time this happened it's was off for around 3days and for each day they gave me £30 in credit which meant a few months of free broadband so looking forward to that compensation again. . I got unlimited data on my phone anyway so just hotspotting
Fairly late night but feeling okay, stinking weather so off to the pub at about 3pm. Need to think of what to cook tonight next.
I would, but they've got a new menu on mains. There's a ribs option I like the look of. But then I'm definitely having the pork belly/prune starter so that's probably a bit of a pork overlaod. Unless they are beef rib! Rhod Gilbert after.
Was beef rib. Which was very good, but not as good as the Korean beef rib from Mushwana over the road tbh. Great place though, proper buzzy atmosphere in the early sitting. Mrs Chief had the Hake, which was as good as ever. The desserts are proper tasty, Basque burnt cheesecake and some Spanish type bread pudding or other. Rhod Gilbert good too. It's certainly not a laugh out loud stand up routine, very gallows dealing with the cancer issue and such like. He seems happy to be alive though, fair play. MOTD and a nice glass of red, tidy.
Need to go fetch the car at some point. Not sure on anything else right now floods everywhere so tough to get about.
i aint going if it is lashing down if it is mild rain yes lashing down no . mind you since my front wheels are ****ed and the standing water will make them even worse any walk will be slow and hard work .
