I was going to say this morning don't get too close to them fookers, then hesitated because I thought, nah Piskie is not that stupid.
You make some great points - which I'll happily acknowledge - but there are also some important omissions ... Sir Alex was almost certainly given the biggest budget in the League to both end United's title drought and to maintain their position once he had achieved that ... similarly in the 1980s Liverpool had the spending power to snap up the best domestic talent seemingly at will... Dalgleish, Barnes, Beardsley, Lawrensen, Houghton, Aldridge ... this wasn't organic growth by any stretch of the imagination ... when you boil it down - not that dissimilar to what Citeh have done since being taken over by the Saudis or what Chelsea did before them under Abramovic ...
I ****in **** myself mate Was just walking back to the RV and this one was mooching in the bushes. Stopped to grab a pic and he ****in charged at me. At least I know I can still run fast when I need to
I am up in Wyoming now at Grand Teton national park. Long ass driving day today in the rain through Idaho which was mainly agricultural fields and ranches. Saw a couple of cool things early this morning in Utah though. This place is called the Golden Spike and was where the union pacific railroad met the railroad coming from the east apparently, as the story goes, when they were building the railroad, the workers were paid per yard of track they put down, but nowhere in their contracts did it stipulate that they had to meet in the middle, so they just carried on past each other lol. The govt then stepped in and said the railroad had to meet in the middle and it is at this place in Utah where they hammered in a golden spike where the two railroads met.
Morning, on the way to the office. First time in 3 months and I still hate it. Going to Pret for breakfast and coffee.
Walked kid to school and then had a stroll back past butchers. getti g bored now and going to speak to office about starting back working.
Easily outrun a human one of them, so I guess you moved far enough away from his territory to let you off lol
When we signed Dalglish we were reining League Champions , European champions and FA cup runners up which weirdly does help generate revenue you know oh and we paid £440k for him having sold Keegan for £500k
But did you make up corner flag sponsors, just like City? The way certain things are airbrushed out of what they have done so they appear 'just the same' as clubs who have self generated funds over long periods before them is all a bit odd. It's not the same, at all.
In your head possibly ... for everybody else non-pool and United, point proven - spending the most gives you a distinct advantage... did in the 80s ..did in the 90s ... and still does now ... self evident ... how else have Chelsea and Citeh come to have dominated the last decade? .... youth development? ...
Yeah up to 40mph apparently I didn’t turn around to see how far he chased me I just legged it lol. He probs just charged and then saw me making a swift exit and thought job done
bet it’s not even its territory just wanted to laugh at you probably went back home and had a reet laugh with the rest of ‘em
