Got our first gig tonight. It's just a small slot at an Academy music day, but it should be a lot of fun. I've somehow managed to get myself embroiled in setting everything up, so I'm off in a minute to build a stage, set up a marquee and help with all of the cabling, setting up mics etc. Will be the first time I've played live for around 8 years, so hopefully this will be the first of many more to come.
Probably not quite the case any more with inflation and scarcity of the product but years ago I worked for a company that owned a quite well-known coffee chain that got given the beans for free just for advertising the brand supplying them in their stores.
Then buy from a shop that pays them more, we are all to blame mate. I don't drink latte anyway, I'd only have something simple like Americano, which will be half the price.
Nah it’s not. Far cheaper to make but still 80% of the price or thereabouts. I do like when places charge a chunk more for an americano vs. espresso.
Yeah £3.99 for breakfast including unlimited coffee. Can’t beat it. Find one with an outside table and you’re less likely to catch something from the regulars too. Rivalled only by the Premier Inn unlimited but far superior breakfast.
