Sat in wagamama having a breakfast. Rather drive 2.5 hours to Heathrow than get a connecting flight from a local airport, so was up at half 2.
Took the van in for MOT this morning. Booked in two weeks ago, first 8.00am slot on a Monday morning for a while you wait. Everyone hungover, mostly surprised to see me. One bloke telling me to come back at nine when they open ffs. The reception was defiantly closed, shutters down. Found a man who could do more than mumble and he acknowledged the booking. Nowhere to 'while you wait' though. Long walk to the nearest Tesco in pissing rain for a decent breakfast tbf. About to walk back, it had better pass.
and i just back from dropping my car off ,just down the road ,for its MOT as well and luckily rain stopped just before i left and hadn't come back as i pushed home then started and now pissing it down .
You can relax and treat yourself to a bottle of wine now, from the money you saved on it passing. Although looking at the price of petrol this morning, don't go too mad.
