Imagine it’s nice in summer. Funny little place. You can tell from parts of it what a dump it must have been once but also lots of money pumped in and arty hipster types about.

Lots of craft beer places selling pints for £10 I imagine. More coffee shops than is necessary. Vegan cafes.

Yeah was £12 for my cocktail last night but that’s pretty standard now. Would’ve been 15 in B-town.

There’s an old rough Spoons right on the beach that I reckon has had some interesting altercations between locals and tourists down the years.

Yep. Don’t date women who look like they open bottles with their teeth and don’t date women born after France ‘98. The golden rules.

Not been to Margate for a few years, I don't remember that concrete mess being on the beach, but it don't surprise me with Thanet Council. I was going to ask are you in Spoons upstairs (it has a balcony), although I expect you are further along than I'm judging by the pic, maybe up by where the old lido use to be. Can't say I miss the place, I think they tried to make it trendier the gallery end.

Just had a stroll past it early this morning and it looked like it could do with a lick of paint. They’ve put some trendy bars on that bit in the pic. Seaside towns evolve or die and most die.

Margate used to be a proper **** hole

I used jump on the train and head down there with my mates when an old theme park called Bembom brothers used to be there.

Proper old school pikey theme park with lack of health and safety, was a lot of fun.

Fingered my first girl on the train on the way back from there once <laugh>

Isn't it a gay enclave now?

And a bit suss that Bwood has gone from Brighton to there, eh!

I saw it on Location x 3 once I think, pair of woofters buying a fancy house there.

I opened a Rioja last night thinking I'd just have one glass with tea.

Did the bottle in watching The Way. Was very nice, but worried myself a bit!

Started watching The Jury. Basically two groups of random members of the public watch the same trial and demonstrate what morons they are but in different ways.

Morning. Foggy. Fog is an underrated weather. None of the hassle of rain or wind.
