1) A couple of days in Marrakech 2) From there take a 2/3 day excursion to Ouarzazate and stay overnight in tents with Bedouins out in the Sahara. 3) Go here https://www.tripadviser.co.uk/Tourism-g488109-Imlil_Marrakech_Safi-Vacations.html if you can and get a guide to take you up to local berber settlements in the mountains. Very hospitable ppl and amazing scenery up above the clouds. There you go, nothing stopping you now
I climbed Mount Toubkal a while ago but some of the villages nearby got ****ed in the earthquake. Doable climb in Spring if that’s your jam.
Yeah PM me bro. Got a couple of contacts for you. My friend Khalid has a place in Imsouane. That's out in the sticks but it will be cheap and Khalid will cook for you too. Also got an English mate who has a place to rent down in Taghazout. Both are right on top of the beach. But like Trebs says, would definitely have a couple of days in Marrakech and make sure you get up into the Atlas mountains
Cheers guys i will need this info when I’ve got my pen and pad ready to take notes will be in touch thank you mwah mwah x
It's no wonder I spend a lot of time here £4 a pint and I asked to try a new beer and the barmaid just poured me half for free.
I had no plans to climb Toubkal when I went out there tbh but when I arrived in Imlil the news was a couple went up, the weather turned and one of them was either trapped or dead. We did some of the mountains with a guide - villages set on the side of cliffs, valleys down below with farms lush with green, incredible stuff.
