Off to the match in a bit. West Brom at home. Baggies fans are idiots, not really looking forward to a couple of hours of dross football and them shouting who are you on repeat. Couple of beers will be required.
You can have what you like at breakfast as that’s what you’ve paid for. What you haven’t paid for is a “freebie” lunch. Not quite sure why that’s difficult to understand?
All inclusive beef! It's a good way of managing a budget holiday if the food is good. The food here is not good in general but now and then there's something nice enough. I'm not a fan in general and will eat out for all meals other than even paying half board.
I’ve never done a full board or all inclusive and only done half board a couple of times when we’ve taken the mother-in-law away. Like you, I prefer to eat in the local restaurants and hopefully enjoy some local cuisine.
It doesn't cost much more if you find the right places. Found a great tapas place for last night £66 with a beer, cocktail, bottle of wine and just about more than we could eat. I'll post pics on the food thread now.
They don't put the rolls and pasties out at lunch, they put them out at breakfast. They are there to be used, so that's what happens. There's even fruit too, absolute madness, eh!
Whats madness is you trying desperately hard to justify taking something that you have not paid for and aren’t entitled too Fancy holiday companies offering different levels of board so people can choose what they wish to pay for and what they don’t. How radical is that!
You're right, I'm sure the hotel much prefers throwing away the un used stale bread and pastries from breakfast.
I don’t go through a holiday company, I book direct with the hotel. You can do it via the Internet and everything. Now that is radical!
I guess even with your technically superior IT skills you still choose the level of board you wish to pay for?
I guess they cater for the guests based on the board level they choose. It still doesn’t give you the right to take something you haven’t paid for.
You seem to be labouring under the idea that I book a package holiday with varying degrees of what's allowed, like the majority of British sheep do. It's a hotel booking, B&B. And I use the breakfast food. Which I've paid for. How much of that we use is immaterial, it's still the breakfast food. The hotels are completely cool with it, so perhaps you should also be and stop being so ludicrously outraged at the 'theft' of a few pain aux chocolate and bread rolls.
So you don’t use package holidays companies and that makes a difference. You’ve admitted that you book B&B, the clue is in there mate! I’m not outraged at anything. I’m laughing at your hypocrisy, where because you pay for one thing it entitles you to another.
Walk done. Love the flora in these places, the plants are really interesting. Found a bar for the football, little tapas place away from the main area. The rest of the places are morning to night Brits getting on the beer.
