Ah right, I see, sounds like they are suggesting it's an age related thing and because you changed the dogs age by one year, you gave them the within 14 days get out clause. I feel your pain and yeah insurance companies are shhites, soz about that bro.
The dog is 5 years old and it said she was 4 on the policy. She’s not an old dog by any stretch, but I thought I’d better change it so they they didn’t use it as a get out if it didn’t match the vets record. Anyway, the ****s have used that as a policy amendment which has reinstated their 14 day policy. That’s after they tried to fob me off with some ‘undiagnosed symptom’ bollocks And it’s also after they’ve agreed the amendment and charged me a bigger premium because the dog is one year older. The other ****ty part is that they separated out the procedures into different claims, because they wanted to get out of paying for spaying the dog (which was done as part of the vets medical recommendation due to the condition) That part cost £152. But I had a £160 excess on my policy, so they are now saying that I owe them £8 So that part seems to be ‘covered’ under the 14 day period. But the part where they owe me over a grand doesn’t. did I say ****s ?

The bodies of four teenage boys, who disappeared after travelling to north Wales for a camping trip, have been found inside an overturned and partly submerged car. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news...n-search-for-missing-teenagers-in-north-wales
Something similar happened down here a few years ago. Youngsters returning from a night out on a filthy night of weather. They were crossing a partly submerged bridge, when the car lost traction, went into the river and flipped over. One of them managed to climb out, but the others were swept out to sea and drowned. One of them didn't turn up until about 3 weeks later when their body was found 50 miles up the coast
Just read this now, must have been absolutely horrible having to search and confirm that. 4 seemingly nice lads wiped out by pure accident. Really sad.
****ing tragic - you seen the pics? - my initial thought was that Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin will be in a world of **** when they eventually turn up - for 4 young lives to be lost in such circumstances is just unbelievably sad ...
