I would have like to have seen Arsenal back Ozil over those comments, but I get why as a football club they try to stay out of politics (commerce aside) Football is tribal enough, and if you have football clubs supporting or condemning various political acts, it would turn the whole game into a war zone That said, the football community came out in support of Ukraine, so I suppose those lines have already been crossed.
the illusion that sport is separated from politics is purely virtual signalling no more no less like you say the hypocrisy is blinding
It is an illusion. Especially when lots of clubs receive their funding from shady groups who commit human rights violations virtue signalling about sums it up
https://www.skysports.com/football/...ited-bench-and-play-only-once-a-month-forever Maguire is threatening to leave Man United. Hazza, its only a threat if they dont want you to leave, my guy. They already tried to offload your lumpy ass back in the summer, but West Ham werent prepared to pay 200k a week for a lamp post.
Not sure why he is bothered. Southgate the ****** will still pick him for England regardless of if he plays for his club or not, such is his way.
Theres a bar on the isle of man called quids in, you pay 3 quid to get in and every drinks a pound all day and night.
i really don't think so as it would be bankrupt in weeks or even days and having just checked it is a quid to get in and then your drink is what they charge you .
That makes much more sense. Its called Quids in, then they charge you 3 quid to get in Didn't make sense.
no way any pub can sell actual real beer for a £1 and not go to the wall as that probably doesn't even cover the duty . sure you didn't just get ****faced and so just have a blurry memory of something being £1
He was probably in there for last orders on a Sunday when they trying to shift all the dodgy left overs
