Buenos dias. Coffee and gym. Gym hasn’t opened yet- lazy bastards. Bird wants to go to some Saturday art market. Going to Cadiz tomorrow anyway to see the sea because we don’t get sea where we live two minutes from the sea. Not seen one Irish pub here yet that will have the England game on.
Was grim. Nothing more than a quick 15 minute pint and watch of France v All Black's before getting the train. Everything about the newly pedestrianised areas of town there are horrible.
Got my bag lifted on Cadiz beach once, when I visted Sevilla for Expo '92. Camera, passport, train and flight tickets, all gone. Pikey bastards.
@Bwood_Ranger go to Triana for an evening, old school traditional Spain type area of Sevilla. Bit shady in places but 'authentic'.
I’m staying in Triana. It’s great. Much better than the tourist traps but even those aren’t in the same league as Barca or Madrid.

Bit late, I know, but ground staff in Italy staged a 24hr strike yesterday. As a result my flight was cancelled. Currently in Bologna hoping my flight home tonight makes it!
I've never been ... but my eldest girl has a mate living there and has had her phone nicked in nightclubs on two separate visits ... both time from bags that she kept on her ... other friends too on the same occasions ... there are gangs of co-ordinated dippers (no offence @Sucky ) that frequent the clubs and do the whole distraction stuff etc ... PS what is the most expensive sherry there? ... asking for a friend

Went to my local pub lunchtime, rarely go there because they want nigh on a fiver for a beer. Didn't start well as the pint of ale was luke warm, I decided not to complain and accepted it for what it was, wrong beer on the wrong day, next pint went for lager, Estrella on tap but my lad got that, dread to think how much that cost but went down a treat with the food. I was meant to be watching the game today, but oh well, too hot anyway to be bothered.
