Tell me about it ... just took our little dog to France with us on our week's hol ... before ****ing Brexit no cost in doing so ... now you have to have an AHC (Annual Health Check) certificate each time you travel to the EU ... but it's payable to British vets who issue it ... they use a microchip reader to check that it is the same dog as the micro number they have put on the AHC ( about 5 sheets of A4 all of which is a stock form apart from the dog's name and number) they then stamp it in about 5 different places, confirming the already mentioned info plus that her jabs are all up to date ... Then they charge you £308.57 for the privilege... robbing bastards ... ... and you need this within 10 days of going on any trip ... doesn't carry over or owt!!!
£308?! That is disgusting man, for taking a dog with you. It's that, or leaving the poor thing in a kennels, so what can you do?
Had to get her a rabies top up jab too ... add that on and we paid nearly as much to take her as we did for a week in an apartment with a pool in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie!!! ... admittedly we got a very good deal ...
