Cheers Luvvy, appreciate it. He's laughing about it, now. I **** when he started wheezing and gasping for air, though - Curiosity has always been a weakness of mine. He's doing alright. Gets a scan in about 7 weeks time to see if the chemo is doing anything or not. I'm struggling with it and I've told him I need to start going back for a break more regularly because I ain't cut out to be a carer. It's hard graft.
If it's a Tom it's found a hot she in heat. Could be gone for a week or so but will come back once it's shagged out and sure the jobs done. Will then sleep for days with the odd break to eat. Stop worrying. Either that or it could have been squashed by a car.
Have you been mate? I know I won't get hassle from authorities etc but I also don't wanna be disrespectful. Gonna be just me and my boy too so would rather not attract unnecessary attention. I'll definitely cover up in Amman but don't know if it's necessary at the more touristy places like Petra/Wadi Rum.
No but I have a mate there, he says for men specifically it's very relaxed. Lots of Jordanian men walk about in Western clothes, shorts the whole lot. If you are required to cover up, much like Dubai you will receive some clothes. But as Westy said, it's right on the border with Israel and people just cross over all the time so, it's a very very tourist friendly country My mate was born and raised there btw
Nice one mate, cheers for that. Yeah I definitely wouldn't be going on my own if I was a woman lol. I knew that they had good relations with Israel but didn't realise the border crossings were regularly used. Might have to plan a visit to the west bank on the way.
Morning. Gym done. Bit of breakfast then beach. Was hoping Ingerland were playing tonight but will give the Johnstone Paint International Final a go probably.
Happy Fathers day to all the top Dad's. Up early, cold dip in the 'pool', made everyone breakfast, had my own. Walked the dog avoiding any human contact whatsoever, will mow the lawn and then have 9 holes with my middle un, couple of pints after. Dinner later (lamb), but that's for her dad really not me.
Took mine for a knicker boker glory down some Italian gellato place in Chiswick yday evening as hes been off the drink for a few weeks. He actually moving to the isle of man on the 28th of next month while him and the ex wife sell the gaff they had together. Gives me a reason to go there in future i guess but ill miss not having him just round the corner
