Now the latest rumours (which may or may not be BS) is that it was a guy in a van mowing down a group of people, and the gunshots were Armed police taking out his tyres to immobilise him. EDIT: BBC news and the Guardian have all but confirmed it. At least 3 dead, several injured. Guy trying to mow people down in a van! Could be terrorist, could just be a drunken cocktard, who knows. They have arrested a 31 year old guy.
