My mum had 4 brothers ... 2 (year apart age wise) were proper 'rascals' at school and would often get the cane ... difference is that when they came home, my grandfather would give them another wack ... because teachers were respected back then and by the old boy's logic, if they'd got the cane, they'd done something to warrant it ...

Brother in law can't get to the West Brom game, so got his season tickets, nice to see some more live football.

No golf, course closed. Despite the fact it pissed down over night (still is), so there is not even any frost or ice out there.

Going chop wood and ****, pretty much tootle around all day.

Off to walk the dog on the beach now.

 

I had a cortado and an almond croissant.

 

There's a Turkish coffee shop in Brum, do an excellent cortado.

 

There's a Brummie cafe in Istanbul that does an excellent mug of steaming hot bovril...

Swans shop, Sports Direct (predictably bereft of anything quality), Morrisons.
