Can understand why Japan has them but don’t see the need for one of the most sparsely populated countries in the world to bother.

Also you could probably rent a car for the whole holiday at that price. Nobody goes by taxi in the States or Canada except maybe in New York.

We did have a go at each other often, once told her that I'd never met anyone that needed telling to **** off so often. Good thing about her was that she'd forget an argument straight away, no malice in her. Really nice person.

I heard she challenged him to a lunchtime drink off.

 

She swore more than me and could easily out drink me that's for sure.

 

Just had to have this lovely old girl (on the right) put down.

It's heartbreaking.

Sometimes wonder why we do it to ourselves as we know it's going to happen.

Been through it more times than I care to remember now

That said, as painful as it is, I wouldn’t swap not having dogs and cats to prevent having to go through that sad part at the end.

 

Love and grief come hand in hand.

 

Its like losing a member of the family

I imagine she had a good and long life with a family that looked after her

 

You'd think, but she really wasn't old enough.

She was knocked over by another dog about five months ago, which broke her hip and showed up a lot of arthritis in both hips, which made them weak.

During a check up scan after the leg was all pinned up, a blur was found and the vet more or less spelled out the worst going forward.

She'd been limping last day or so, another ex ray showed extensive cancer and her leg was held together by the plate, the bone hadn't grown back.

You'd not have known last few weeks, only last day or so was evident pain there.

 

That makes it even sadder

 

Nah. Canada is well expensive. I was looking to rent a car to drive through the mountains. For the equivalent of a vauxhall corsa its 140 quid a day
