Anyone watch that new Lord of the Rings series on Amazon yet? Gave it a look, even though Lord of the Rings isnt really my thing......what utter ****e. Apparently it cost them a billion dollars to make..... Maybe you need to be a die hard fan to get it, but I was bored to tears. The effects and scenery looked great, which I would expect for a show that cost a billion, but the writing and acting and plot were ****ing terrible.
Fecking love north Wales. Six days in and smashing it so far in a beautiful place. Staying in Dolgellau tonight which is a nice n quirky gaff. Denbigh asylum is an absolutely mental (no pun intended) place to explore. Great fun to re-live my childhood. Must admit though that I do feel like I'm turning into luv with all this walking and drinking
The Ship Inn Dolgellau was always a decent place, not been there for about 3 or 4 years now though. Sometimes did an overnighter there if we were walking cider Idris or The Arans.
True that. I wild camped on Llyn last night and then visited Aber falls today so my first beer at like 3pm went down ****ing superbly.
Did go in for one but was more a food place and had already eaten. Seemed lovely in there though. Pretty ****ing drunk now tbh.
Was just showing my girlfriend around last week, North Wales and Liverpool. She loved it, real amazing part of the country.
why did she love it? The greenery in the Welsh countryside….I get it Liverpool…? bring her to Huddersfield…she’d love it…we’ve got the best kebab shops in Huddersfield down here
