Saf @The Arnhem Bridge hasn't been on for a couple of weeks, he can't still be out celebrating Sunderland's promotion?

Sucky had said to me after a day or two that Saf hadn't been on, but it was around the time Sunderland were at Wembley, so I just assumed he might have done a stay over from the game, but been 2 weeks now.

Saff does that quite regularly though, he won't be on for a couple of weeks and then reappears. Hope he's okay, I know he's been quite open before that his mental health isn't always good. So hope he's not sat somewhere in a pit of despair. Especially when he could be chatting to us ****s. <ok>

Went in wetherspoons yesterday, only a couple of quid for a beer (ale). I saw something on the tv when I got home, that seemed to be suggesting it would cost you £8 for a pint in London, blimey I could have had 4 pints for that, even their most expensive beer which would be something like brewdog, you could get a couple of pints for that price.

Other than Spoons, not easy getting a pint in Brum for under 6 quid now.

I generally try to avoid the closest pubs to me, simply because I refuse to pay £5+ a pint. So it means I have to go further, but the exercise is good, unless I have family/friends driving or I'm travelling somewhere on a train.

I'll stick to Moretti or Estrelle 330ml @ £0.83 thanks.

Save the big bucks for some quality wine rather than cheap plonk is more my motto. In fact it always amazes me how people will happily spend £6 a pint but baulk at paying £30+ for a decent bottle of vino. Having said that though you can get half decent stuff from Lidl at much less if you're on a tight budget.

Each to their own of course and there's nowt as queer as folk as they say <ok>

Just had a random call from my Italian cousin who usually lives is Australia, he's over here for some work so we're gonna meet up in Spitalfields Market tomorrow and have a catch up, last time I saw him we were like 8yr old he accidentally broke my Xmas present at my nan's gaff and we had to be dragged apart <laugh>
