Yeah she loved it there. Was a job to keep her out of the reservoir though <laugh>

Yeah man I bet. They are volcanic islands right ? So there must be some reefs a bit like you get in the Canary Islands ?

I’ve surfed in fuerteventura. On a wonderful peeling reef point. But that volcanic rock is ****ing sharp and spiky underneath. Would not want to take a beating in big surf over that stuff !

    There it is!

At the dam end did you see a new spillway?

Well, not that new really was eleven years ago ffs.

Yes the islands are of volcanic origin, would imagine they're like Fuerteventura, as in constant wind/breeze.

Yeah fuerteventura is constantly windy. So lots of the best breaks are in the sheltered spots.

I just had a bike rental when I was there so could only surf as far as I could ride (and carry a board, not an easy combo !)

Found a wonderful point/reef just N of the main harbour in Corralejo.

You’ll have to post up some pics of the surf spots there fella <ok>

    Will do.

Right off for a couple of Caipirinha's and then a snack.
Lovely octopus pasta dish for lunch, over indulged, not hungry enough for a dinner.
