Think coasting saves some fuel in older cars but not in anything last decade or two. Not good for car either.
When you cruising the engine needs fuel to keep running, when you going down hill you get back feed through the gearbox which helps keep the engine running so not as much fuel is used. Minor saving but but still a saving.
I thought all cars now had a guage on them, that told you how many miles you were getting per gallon or whatever measure it was, I use to find, if stayed at a steady 55 on a carriageway, your fuel consumption was massively decreased to say driving at 70. Likewise as you say, while doing 55, take your foot off the gas down hill, again more saving....or that's what I thought anyway.
Where you buying from fella? My Sky remote ****ed up at the same time as my daughters (£24 from most outlets at the time), daughter got us both replacements (genuine Sky) for £12 each off Amazon.
Can you take the remote apart? Take the batteries out, check no screw in the battery department, then prise it apart. Youtube should have a vid showing you how to for your specific remote. Then clean with alcohol wipes.
Good morning. Don’t forget to pour your leftover boiled water into the bath. Bwood’s money saving tip. The only tip I have.
Well done mate. If you have any alcohol wipes, even something like lens cleaners, wipe those contacts, on the other side of that battery board, and anything on the rubber buttons on the other piece.
