Busy day yesterday, captains charity day down the club which was an interesting and very slow round of golf given women and vets were also involved. Won longest drive and got a voucher at a decent restaurant for my trouble so was ok.

Afternoon on the beach, evening at the in laws for beers and Thai takeaway. Even had a lie in.

Nippers cricket this morning then spend the afternoon getting the behemoth ready as it's road trip time next weekend.
Actually literally can't wait. Just got to get a ****e week in work out of the way first.

Sounds like you had a cracking day there Chief.

But calling your wife a behemoth just before you go on holiday can't be a good move!

Just mowed mine and our elderly neighbours front lawns (not a euphemism! why did that thought pop into my head ffs?) so that's my good deed for the day.

Watching the women's open golf now it's lunch at the cricket. I quite like watching the women at golf, it's quite quaint and relaxing.

Kingsbarns looks a nice, if tame, course to play one day.

I forgot about the red tees.

Even I could get a decent score off those tees.

I've been trying the brewery trays where you get 3 1/3 pint glasses from a brewery. Quite smashed now. <cheers>

If you are visiting Dublin this place is great, just over the river from Temple Bar so you're not paying top whack and the atmosphere is great, hurling on the TV , good food and drink.
