Feel sick just reading that. I want to say hope you are ok mate, but never seems appropriate when you read what you had done - because I'd feel like saying, of course I'm not ok yer stupid shhite.
not necessarily as the day after they removed my kidney i woke up feeling better than i had for well over a year and stuffed myself with my breakfast and about 3 others mind you i did feel a bit sick about an hour later .
I came home from hospital one time, and I was high as kite, wanted my lad to take me for a beer etc....then I came crashing down as the effects of what they gave me wore off.
i had one painkiller the night before and that was it . I'd been in so much pain that the op pain barely registered tbh and it was nice to be able to eat easily again - the kidney was so distended thru infection it was acting like a gastric band . When i convinced the consultant to discharge me early as it was just before Christmas my final words to him was to check it was alright to drink he just sighed and said "yes i suppose so but don't get pissed "
Been that way for just over 3 years mate. Ever since that Friday morning I decided to have a fight with some wire fencing and lost 2d is very odd at first like missing door/cupboard handles. Not knowing when your finger will hit the supermarket touch screen. Walking into stuff like open cupboard/car doors on my blind side. It's a steep learning curve but everything is like normal now apart from not being able to catch stuff thrown at me
Like Luv said, does this also explain why you can’t see the amount of ketchup that goes on your plate ?
My stolen joke got one more like than yours Coz yours was buried in a load of text Make a note not to go full fosse next time
Evening stains, just completed a day of 11 hours in the office. Bloody Commercial managers meeting over ran by an hour. “How to tell Operations they’re ****” was the task of the day.
