I genuinely would have liked Fosu Mensah to be given a chance but can see why we bought Matic. We need a DCM to bolster the defence and allow the front five more freedom to attack. I think he'll be a very good, if unexciting, signing. I'd be happy if we left it there now, can't see why we need Perisic or anyone else.
I seen a post of his the other day , although I never checked the date , not a lot of posters on the Man U board and threads not to far down can go back a ways . You must have chased him off after you guys had your spat
I think going into the season with tfm who is potential rather than established and expecting to compete is a bit much and can understand going for a matic type. But underwhelmed tbh Too much pressure IMO to get results scraped it last season by winning the ropey. Looks to be a period where stability with established players is needed.
Well if he can't handle a disagreement this is probably the wrong place, eh? He's not posted on the United board. Which you're right, is quiet in the close season. I kind of assumed he'd be back to moan a lot some more when the new season kicks off.

Yeah, probably right. I'd like TFM to stay in the squad and not be loaned out though. Matic is an understandable enough signing, we definitely needed someone in that position.

Yeah hopefully the older heads will allow the youngsters time to develop I think people underestimated the task after Moyes got rid of the staff and players like vidic Rio and evra all at once. Add to that the decline of Rooney and even giggsy etc not around Likes of rashford and martial need time which being outside the top 4 won't give them. This way hopefully 2 birds with one stone
Never get how it can be any different tbh. Folk who keep harping on about past conversations and try the one upmanship need yo realise its an anonymous forum when all is said and done That said I find the team boards too precious. If you can't gave a laugh and a wum now and again what's the point?

Am not saying anything goes necessarily but let's say (actually happened with another team) I was chatting on the spurs board during a game and I made a comment "Kane should gave passed that instead of shooting". You ask why? And I say because his shooting angle was too narrow and alli was in a good position. To then get responses like he is better than rashford etc should not get me banned but the guy making them
The thing that ended up bugging me the most was the frequent suggestion that being a 'mod' meant that I shouldn't, wasn't allowed even, to get involved in any sort of argument on the board. Ludicrous really. As if holding some irrelevant and completely unimportant or significant in any way title meant I shouldn't tell anyone to **** off or refer to them as a ****.
All of the teams boards are modded slightly differently, depending on the mods on each board. The Spurs board is modded like the old BBC 606. It's a bit straight laced and there's no room for any **** slinging Most of the other teams boards are a bit more relaxed.
Absolutely ****ing this ^^^^ The amount of times I've had 'Oooh you're a mod, you should know better' Blah blah .... **** off. I'm a football fan first, that's why I use this site. The people who used to moan about me being a mod generally weren't even posters on the Arsenal board anyway, they were whining about it on here. A board that isn't even modded ffs.
