    Cheers mate. Spoke to an engineer at EE earlier and they checked my line etc. I reckon it must be a dicky router. Hopefully a new one will get it sorted and I can watch pornhub again <ok>

    might be your microfilter the bit which connects to the phone line and you then connect the router and phone to as a faulty one of them will produce the sort of fault you are experiencing . You may find EE send you one with the router .
