Ventured out for a stroll today, well a hobble anyway. Just good to get out and about after being cooped up nursing these injuries. Beach looking lovely. Relieved that I'm not missing any surf either.
Ok Just found my old tub with my old grinder in it so giving that a clean out then gonna let my dad have the old one cos hes rocking some @Spurlock plastic thing at the moment. Will add this to some stardawg in a min and get the day going
4 dead and 159 unaccounted for now, numbers constantly creeping up as they establish more information. I've seen a video now of it coming down, just completely pancaked all the way down, I'm certainly no structural engineer, but assume the foundations must of gone surely!? I did hear there was some work happening on the roof yesterday, not sure what type of work, and there was concerns about weight, but would that really make it straight pancake the way it did, clean sheer off one side.
@aberdude what are your lot saying. Steel doesn’t just collapse does it mate? I’ve heard Trump lives in Miami.
There was ideal chat yesterday about any possibility of a sinkhole, not sure if that theory has been dismissed yet, going to make people very nervous that are living in similar blocks until the cause is announced. Never liked those monstrosities bloody eyesore.
The majority of Miami is built on reclaimed marsh land and the bedrock is thin, there’s bucketloads of those similar sized blocks, I’m sure there’ll be plenty of twitchy arses until the cause is identified.
