Little spot just a few miles up the road from me. This place is called Commando ridge as the SAS use it for training.

Not because they don't wear any underwear.

    See what I did there ? Copyright @FosseFilberto ;)

We buried my friend Scotty yesterday. A beautiful day in a lot of ways with his friends and family celebrating his life, but I'm not gonna lie, it was ****ing hard seeing his coffin. Still can't believe he's gone :(

Bought a new set of irons in the week, little treat to myself.

Stealthily had them delivered to a UPS pick up point so no one knew about it like.

Checking bank accounts today, I only paid for the ****ers out of our joint account. <doh>

    Dog house awaits.

I've transferred the money over from my own account. She never look sat statements anyway, I do our finances. And, of course, maintain an account of my own for such things but dropped this bollock by not checking which card I used on PayPal.

It'll take a good month before the 'Golfbidder' transaction drops off the page if she does though!

What's everyone up to this fine BH weekend then?

Got nets tonight, followed by a pint (outdoors)

Nets in the morning, them a football match immediately after, this is all my middle 'un.

It's my eldest's 15th birthday on Sunday and, as his 'party', he wants to go and drink cider on the beach with his mates tomorrow afternoon. I **** you not.

I looked it up but apparently Woodpecker no longer exists. He's allowed a four pack of small Kopperberg, which is just drinking alcoholic fizzy pop really so is maybe not the best thing to do. Will be an interesting evening no doubt.

My Mrs has kindly invited her parents over Saturday evening, without bothering to run it past me first, so am naturally delighted by that.

Sunday am playing golf (after greeting my probably hungover son on his birthday of course) and then we're going to her parents for dinner (which I did know about but still...)

Monday was supposed to be walk and pub for food but it's gale force type pissing down so maybe not. **** knows otherwise.

Typical family weekend right there. I've got a few boring Jobs to do, I'll also get out for a walk and visit some friends I haven't seen in ages.
I'm sure a beer or two will be had.
