Wild food tends to also grow a few yards away from the verge, so it's not a problem to pick the non dog piss ones.
...says the guy advocating eating Haribos that may or may not have loitered in his bum crack .... I'll stick to foraging ...
you need to tell Fosse not me..i pay for my stuff from the local grocer and put my money back into the community
I wash all my foraged food. But @Tobes is right about avoiding those verge side ones tbh. If you're walking your dogs up there, then it stands that plenty of others are too. Ponky's top tip, don't eat dog piss flavoured wild garlic
Particular one is on a bend about 10ft back from the road ... more chance of squirrel piss as there are woods just to the left ....
Yeah I was just looking at the first pic you posted where the wild garlic is right next to the verge, where you were walking your dog.
Home made soup tonight ... you'd love it bruv ... carrot and coriander but with bouillon base, onion and chilli... the missus speciality
sounds good to me...some nice bread to dip in it too and I bet Fosse won’t claim that the bread was homemade like @Peej did earlier on
Starving and that sounds tasty tbh All this chat about roadside pickings and garlic has made me get a kebab
I get home made Welsh cakes, which I love (and pizza of course ) ... but we've not done bread ... would love to mind ...
