Spent a bit of time in Yosemite in the Autumn, The colours in there are stunning when the leaves turn.
It's kept clean and tidy and all dogs are on leads, you can go there and chill with no hassle. My kinda place.
Yep looks like it's really well looked after. I used to live quite close to Greenwich park growing up. I know it's one of the royal parks so gets a lot of money spent on it. But the gardens there are truly wonderful and there are some incredibly old and important trees there. Some were planted back in Elizabethan times
There's one in the little village I grew up in that is very old, there are some big ass trees there not native to this country, I'll have to take some photos.
@PISKIE I counter your rocks with trees, and some geese. View attachment 165409 View attachment 165410 [/QUOTE] ****ing Canada Geese my little fooker would soon sort them out .
Greenwich! That made me think of my favourite weekend pub with my old mates. Trafalgar Tavern. Loved that place.....and the boat ride to get there!
Yeah nice spot. I used to drink in the Gypsy Moth right next to the Cutty Sark. Greenwich was always my Sunday trip. Walk across Blackheath common, through the park, buy some records from Greenwich market and then lunch and a pint in the Gypsy Moth
I remember taking some friends there one Sunday night and it was closed. So we went next door to the Yacht(?) and the owner took my friends in and around The Trafalgar Tavern.I thought that was real great of him.Must have had the key!!!!!?
Trafalgar is a lovely pub. My Dad was in the Navy so he loved Greenwich. We used to go there as kids and play in the park as a family. Always remember being fascinated with the meridian line (the actually strip of brass on the path up by the observatory) Good memories. Greenwich will always hold special place for me
