I once put a handful of money in the bin because there was nowt bigger than a £5 note in there. I’ve always felt guilty about doing that, probably the most dickhead thing I ever did tbh, since pissing on a hedgehog when I was 12.
I used to always do that. Come home and stick any change in a pot. Became less and less over the years though as using cash stopped being a regular occurrence. I’ve not been in any shop or garage for 6 months now lol.
My girls get all my change in their piggy banks now, always keep a few dinks in the car as well but I’ve never liked change in my pockets.

The terminology it's used by stating 'cash' makes it sound like the rest of your wages were paid by bacs, but that extra bit was by cash transfer, I assume you have checked how the money went into your bank.
No the whole lot is paid by bacs, but split into 3. Basic Pay, Basic Pay Cash and Expenses. It is odd like. I can only think it’s to do with WFH some sort of allowance.
