I've always loved how in Wrestling the music plays before the wrestler comes out and the commentators still act like it was a spontaneous decision by them. Its grade A entertainment WWE
I really don't get how adults can like it but loved it as a kid. Watching that undertaker & mankind hell in the cell at 8 years old was brilliant at the time.
I can't watch it now, I don't think I've tuned into Raw or Smackdown in over 10-15 years. But I can rewatch all the stuff that was happening as I was a kid. During the Stone Cold and The Rock era it was very adult friendly, after those guys retired they went for the kids as the main audience and it went too ****. Now its unbelievably kid friendly.
My Grandad was convinced that the old Wrestling on word of sport with Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks was real. My Nan used to sit there laughing saying it was all staged and he used to get really upset with her about it
Haha same, he was convinced that in the UK they did it proper and then it was "Americanised" My Grandad used to sit up with me on a Friday and we'd watch Smackdown as he had a drink. He hated it, then he got REALLY into the Undertaker. His entrance and presence blew him away.
