there’s a couple here that my mate took the other night. Second one is through a telescope, but the first is just ordinary camera on a tripod. But yeah won’t get get much through a mobile as you need a long exposure. (Maybe there’s an app for that ?)
Have you seen this... https://news.sky.com/story/scientis...to-of-sun-like-star-with-two-planets-12033850
Am I the only person who thinks Lewis Hamilton is a complete prick? I don’t even know why, I just don’t like the lad.
you are not alone . He comes over as a self entitled twat and has done for as long as i can remember . Excellent F1 driver though .
Yeah I've heard that said several times about him. Which is fair enough comment, far better than some of the racist shhite that gets attached to him.
Great discovery that. Like a glimpse into our own Solar System from billions of years ago. I love the way for all of the incredible tech and maths that goes into these things, the acronym VLT simply stands for Very Large Telescope
Get's me thinking all this science stuff I read. I'm not really a person for believing in religion, albeit I respect all religions. I'm more a believer in what I call fate, sort of a cycle of life. So rather than say believe in God, I'm more likely to believe in billions of years when humans are no long on earth, or maybe our planet no longer habital, I believe that the same cycle of life will recommence elsewhere, somewhere else in the solar system. Much like that new star being born, and it commences a cycle all over again. Much like how everything grows and develops, as we know it, in our cycle of life. that's surely no more crazy than believing in a God.
Personally, I think it's far more plausible to theorise that there are planets being born, life evolving and becoming extinct all over the universe, with that pattern repeating, than it is to believe in one God who created Earth and all the life on it. I think religion and faith has got it's place, personally I don't believe it does a very good job of explaining the Universe, but that's not to say it doesn't play an important part in the human experience.
Like you, I believe religion does have a place, but that's more to assist in someway the thoughts of the masses as well has individuals. Human's probably could be even a worse race without religion, as they could with it.
We could open a big ol' can of worms with a discussion about Religion Suffice to say, it's been here with us for a long time in various guises and it's probably safe to say it's caused both good and harm.
We'll do a religion thread once the footy is over. Spice it up a bit and proper hello to the Leeds fans.
The fact that they play by the board rules ie don’t post on the PL board because their team is in the Championship, tells me that they’re all a bit gay. Be good laughing at them most weekends next season though.
Day off tomorrow and off to a safari park with little man. Should be good. ****ing brakes being done on my car though so borrowing my old dears which should be interesting seeing as it's an automatic.
