I’m really ****ing bored today. Barely got any food in the house, can’t be arsed to go shopping. My garden sail just blew away and nearly took my eye out. So I now have no shade in my garden for about 3 hours.

Beer isn’t going down well. It’s too ****ing hot to do anything. I’m bored of slinging stuff on the bbq. It’s too hot for a roast dinner.

There's a maybe 1-2p sized fairly shallow circular dent on my roof from something falling on it, that will need painting as well as pulling out

Then the rear bumper has been lightly dented/deformed on the right corner from some stupid woman who reversed into me in a car park a couple of years ago, there's also a small scuff mark in the centre of the rear bumper from someone nosing it this week

It's an amazing part of the country you live in. I can imagine it would change my lifestyle massively if I lived in a place like that, especially the structure of my day.

Yes it is very beautiful. And I live in quite an isolated and rural area, which I like. I grew up in south london, so this is a completely different environment.

For me, it’s all about the outdoors. I have no cares for new cars, TV’s or the latest gadgets etc. My missus is the same and I thank my lucky stars I didn’t marry a girl who wants to spend money on new sofas, curtains and **** like that. <laugh>

You bloody well wouldn't, was in 'there' myself yesterday and it is still freezing.

Without a wetsuit you'd have hypothermia within an hour. Less probably.

    Brass monkeys at the minute.
