I bet. Guess it’s going to be a lot harder this year for you. Does Ramadan ever fall in the winter? I’ve no idea how the timing is worked out, seems to be different times of year.

Every year Ramadan comes 10 days sooner...so in 3 years you move a month back. So by my estimation it will fall in Winter(December) in another 12 years.

The Islamic calendar is Lunar based hence the changing of dates year on year

 

Busy day, lots of meetings but nearly done now.

It's called a triffid, it comes from the carnivorous plant species. You ought to nip down B&Q if they have a garden centre section, speak to one of the helpers there and get one for your garden

Day of the Triffids, that was a mad TV show.

 

I didn't know it was a show, I just remembered the films from it, one I think was really old, might have been black and white (mono) and the other more modern version in colour.

 

Just went on a run, Hells Bells by AC/DC came on a playlist I was listening to and it took me back to a ten year old me pulling Back In Black out of the sleeve and hearing that, first track.

Then I realised my eldest is 14 on Saturday and has shown no interest whatsoever in any music, at all, ever.

Depressing.

 

I didnt get into music until I could go raving.

Maybe because these days there's more things to entertain yourself with. Kids get into music later, dunno just a thought.

 

Yeah there was at series in the 80's, it was ****.

 

I'd been to gigs at Manchester Apollo before I was 12.
