@whoeever has been to bali @JakartaToon Planning on going bali. Wheres best to stay on the island/should i stay a bit in the south and then a bit in the north plus any hidden gems i should do. Thanks in advance
Seminyak is the hip happening place on the south coast. We always stay there. There are villas and hotels but hotels tend to be ones right on beach. The big resort hotels are in Nusa Dua on the southern peninsula but its a bit cut off. If you fancy a bit of real Balinese feel then go to Ubud. Really laid back and great walks in the Paddy Fields/Rice Terraces. If you want to travel the island then rent a car and driver - dont drive yourself. Its a magical place. If you are interested in adding a bit of adventure to your trip add in a couple of days to visit Flores (about an hrs flight from Bali). Went there this year and was blown away by the scenery.
Motorpoint is one of the worse venues I’ve been too. Not set up for music, the sound quality is poor. I bought some tickets a few days ago for a gig at St Pancras Church in London.... will be interesting.
Can't say I have. I mean, I've seen some really good bands and shows but the venue always has a negative impact on it. The acoustics are rubbish. The view is rubbish.
I'm in the standing section so the sound will be different there anyway, nothing you can do to the venue other than get the set up right and they will do that at least so it'll be the best sound available. It's ages away but I'm already buzzing about it.
Best venue for acoustics I’ve ever been to is the Royal Albert Hall. The place is amazing anyway, but the sound there is incredible.
