I know you've got a missus and a little one to think of, but just make sure you make the decision for yourself, you're the one having to do the job at the end of the day.

Pay is structured more traditionally but yeah probably pays more, same industry, more specialised.

Was slightly disappointed in their list of company cars but I also have the option of a car allowance instead.

 

Think it through mate. Don't forget you will have to build up your sick entitlement again as well as your holiday entitlement. Grass always looks greener the other side, but just make sure you weigh up properly the pros and cons.

 

You also now have 2 years without any employment rights.

 

Yeah but don't forget with car allowance, company miles is then going on your vehicle, how many miles do you do a year?

oh and don't forget any future redundancy package if it's not already just statutory goes back to year zero.

 

I’m not sure yet, my team would be dispersed throughout UK so I’d imagine quite a lot of miles.

Lots of overseas travel as well which has its own pro’s and drawbacks for me personally.

 

Sounds like a job for a single man that tbh
