Well I’ve got a bit of a thick head today. Think I managed 7 pints of the black stuff and home by 9:30 ish though not completely sure.
Oh yeah Must have a ghost.. Anyone else found that as they got older you can’t hamdle a hangover? I’m ok if I’m in bed by a reasonable hour, so have developed into an afternoon early evening drinker. Have had two effervescent co codomols and feel fine now. Have watched Star Trek discovery and the latest episodes of the grand tour and am currently sat on the sofa reading a book. Off out to a burns night tonight. Really don’t want to go.
Hangovers defo get worse as you get older, as they last longer, and even when you’re supping you’re thinking about the aftermath, which sort of takes the fun out of it. I don’t miss them. I’ve been so some awful Burns night do’s. The worst was defo one when the host hired a piper and did the whole speech thing over the offal. I’ve never worked harder to hold in a belly laugh in my entire life.
I tend to be ok if I’m in bed early. If I drink past midnight then I feel utterly terrible for two days sometimes three if I drink til like 3-4 in the morning. Which I rarely do anymore.
