Been a couple of times in the winter months. Very much a year round place. Very busy last time we went in November. Average temp around 23/24 Happy days
Mrs wants some ‘us time’ so we sat on the sofa and she put dancing on ice on. So now there’s no more ‘us time’.
that utter dross has just been on.. It was background noise...but looked up occassionaly and just tutted.
It’s absolutely terrible. Only time I’d be happy to watch is if somebody copped an ice skate in the face.
So airhead dumb **** Katie Price pleads not guilty to drink driving after failing a breathalyser test being almos twice the legal limit. It looks like the basis of her argument is that the car was stationary. Let’s see if she gets away with it because she says she has to ferry her 11 kids around every day. If that was any of us we’d be banned.
A mate of mine got banned because he had gone on a night out and was meant to be staying with another mate but he ****ed off. Phone was dead so slept in his car. Had the keys in the ignition as he wanted the heat and radio on but was in the drivers seat with it as far back as it could go asleep when a copper knocked on the window and breathlysed him, was over the limit and got banned for 6 months I think. Rooney got banned for 2 years didnt he when he was driving some bird home in the middle of Cheshire, can't see Katie Price getting away with it.
That's ****ing ****e decision making. Okay I understand that somebody could be about to drive under the influence if they are sitting in their car, but surely use a bit of ****ing common sense ? If the bloke is trying to get his head down after a night out, surely the Old Bill would use a bit of discretion and see what the score was ?
Yeah that was his argument. Was a proper **** move by the copper (shock), but they basically said that as he couldn't prove that he would'nt have gone on to drive over the limit and as the keys were in the ignition then he had to be banned. Think 6 months is quite a lenient one due to the circumstances but might be making that up.
I've done that loads of times when I've been off at different Food Festivals and Events. At the end of the day I'll go and find a nice spot to park up for the night in my van and sit in the drivers seat with the Radio on having a couple of beers, before crashing out in the back. ****ing stupid rule really, drink driving should mean that, not drink 'sitting in your car'
think it might be about intent. if the keys are in the ignition, it's pretty difficult to prove that you have no intent of driving
There were probably a few other factors involved as well. Think he was only about 18/19 at the time and was parked on a pretty busy road. Still ****ish by the copper but I can see why they may treat that differently to a bloke in his 40s in a van who is not clearly bollocksed.
I remember hearing that if you have disabled family members you can get a concession as they need access etc. I think the lowest ban is 12 months, so let’s see if she gets any less than that.
I suppose so. If you were planning on driving pissed and the old bill stopped you before you'd even got going, I suppose you could just claim you were sitting in your car. Seems a bit harsh on Saint's mate though.
