Sorry to hear that, mate. It's going to be a tough time, for you. Your business will carry on ticking over, try not to stress.
Sorry to hear that pix You'll cope mate, us humans are pretty ****ing tough when we need to be I'm going through some **** currently too, hence not on much. But funnily enough I'm actually calm/er even though it's serious ****
Did I imagine it , or did someone say on one of the threads they liked Nick Cave ? If you did , have you seen this ? http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/art...the-six-weirdest-movies-which-almost-got-made
I do anyway, but I’m more concerned about missing work atm. This is the busiest period of the year for me and when I should be making the money that will see me through until Easter. Family comes first though. Nobody asked for this, but I’ll make sure I take care of my folks.
You'll get through it mate. Can you rope in short term help? As you say, family come first. Best wishes Piskie.
Possibly. Bit of a logistical problem given where I live and the fact I can’t leave my dad alone for more than about 15 mins. I’ll have to give this some thought. Still waiting to hear from the hospital about my mum. She went into surgery around 2hours ago. A lot will depend on the prognosis I suppose.
Thanks mate. Just spoken to my mum, she’s out of surgery. She’s had a hip replacement. Not sure how long we’re looking at for recovery. I’ll speak to social services tomorrow about longer term care for my dad whilst she’s convalescing. Crap watching your parents getting old. Makes you realise they’ll be gone one day
I know, life’s a bummer mate it takes away everything you cherish. Lost both mine a whiles back, enjoy everyday you have them.
Thanks man. Might have a bit of spare time on my hands whilst I’m at my folks house, and they’ve got a TV. Got any recommendations ?
Just been to watch young un in his Nativity play. He's obviously maturing...he was a sheep this year...last year he was a bush
