There's so much **** on the internet that people will just accept as fact, it's ****ing scary really.

A mate of mine lost ****ing everything because he went down some conspiracy rabbit hole about rejecting the 'legal name'. He thought the authorities couldn't touch him if he refused to accept his name in law. He ended up getting tugged by the old bill for not having any insurance, which then snowballed into him getting banged up because he refused to go to court and ended up with him losing his house and all of his possessions.

Hope it all works out. Long story short when my dad went it was sad but it was a relief that you can move on and not spend hours repeating a sad tragic cycle.

That sucks.
My grandad went down a similar route, last 2 years of his life he went completely batshit.
Turned in to of those foul mouthed old senile ****s, the hospital had to change his nurse 3 times because he kept being verbally abusive.
He wasn't like that at all when I was a kid, his brain just got turned to mush.

 

My dad has been hitting and biting my mum, he was the kindest man I'd ever known, totally out of character. Dementia has completely changed his personality. In a slightly perverse way though, it will actually help speed things up with social services to get some help in.

 

Yeah I dont know why it does that to people, turns them nasty.
Although I did have to stifle a giggle when he said to his nurse "**** off you fat smelly bitch....and wash your ****!" considering the nurse was like a size 12 and smelt like lavender. She took it like a champ too, just smiled and shook her head while I apologised profusely. She was so used to it that it was like water off a ducks back.

 

Good job she wasn't a size 22 fat smelly heffer with a crusty snatch, because she might have kicked him in the bollocks

 

I think the previous 2 nurses were, thats why they had to keep changing them lol
