Trying to get some sleep . Thin partition , tarpaulin making a hell of a racket outside due to the high winds . Mrs J has gone into the front room and I’m going to have to resort to ear plugs if this carries on much longer .
I surrendered my licence following my accident back in March . My insurance company have been in touch . If I don’t tell them by 6th October what the reg of the new car I will be driving ( my car was written off ) , then I have to start from scratch ref my insurance . Is this correct ? If it is , is there anything to stop mr buying a car , get it insured even though I cannot drive until I get my licence back . I am pretty sure of course the answer is I cannot do that , but wanted to check .
There's nothing to stop you buying a car. But without a valid licence you're not going to get any insurance.
It did mate thanks. The shelter we built stopped it from getting wet or from any crap blowing off the trees onto it. Pretty proud of that effort really and we got it near on spot level too (within about 2mm) Building the shed in a couple of weeks. It will be a nice shed. Insulated, tiled floor, double glazed door and windows, living roof etc.
Sat hoping the U13's match is postponed. Only got 11, no goalie, and to be perfectly honest, they're ****e. Could do without standing in the pissing rain watching demoralised kids get hammered.
