I don't myself. Same old **** beckons me thinks. I think it will be this Pants Rev--------------------------PVA Bridcutt Seb------Rodwell Alvarez-------------------------Wickham DefoeConnor in limbo again having to cover two positions and being forced to spend most of his time defending in the position he's **** in. Alverez forced to cut in because he hasn't got the pace to do pacy fullbacks on the outside, Rodwell being asked to be the box to box midfielder he most certainly is not and they only threat on the pitch coming from left back. All the while defoe is making runs crying out for a creative central player up his arse but instead runs into empty pockets of space waiting for a ball that never comes. Or he could start with 4 CMs again. Hope he surprises me but not counting on it.
Ha ha I am worried to be fair. Thats what I was trying to say. As much as I think this late in the season its desperation to play a left back and untried youngster in a 'just about' must win game, what other options do we have? Total underperformance all season. I can guess the team now though. 3/5 at back whichever way you look at it to accomodate Van Anholt on left. Jones/Rev on right. Bridcutt, Larsson, Gomez in middle 3 and Defoe and Wickham up front.
Do you think he'll go back to 3 at the back? I wouldn't have dropped it so soon, yeah we'll concede but we'll score some goals. Sounded to me like he'd scrapped that idea for good. He's not going to abandon his defensive reliance which I understand to point, it is the only thing that's kept us out of the relegation zone. I must say, Watmore will surprise many when he gets his shot. He's fit and ready to compete at this level imo. Mandron's about ready too, he's bulked out and looks a beast but he'd need a partner.
Hope springs eternal so I'll keep everything crossed but I suspect your line up is about spot on. Hopefully, those selected are good enough to get the 3 points.
I like your team Funk and hope he plays it, even if its a gamble, this is a must win game imo., it wont be easy but its do-able. We have the players but do we have the manager, we will see.
Well they've managed 4 wins, three more and a handful of inevitable draws should see us safe but we need a bounce back win very soon and hopefully put a run together in what are five great games to pick up some wins. Aston Villa H West Ham A Newcastle H Crystal Palace H Stoke A
The good thing is, it's in our hands. The bad thing is it seems like we've got lots of broken fingers and keep dropping the ball. Brickin' it for tomorrow.
The sewage system is gonna be put under some pressure the next 24 hours. Quite a few 1000 feeling that way I think
Fek, fek, fek and fek. Been in a hospital half the day and was getting the score on my phone. Could not fekin believe what I was reading.
