Agreed. Awj did come on and force a good try. He's a good leader too. Maybe they think he'll have the experience to deal with the onslaught and then maro comes on with twenty to go and batters them into submission.
By time he comes on it could be goodnight Vienna. And then that half wit slop jock will be all over the thread like it's the best day of his life. Mark my words pal.
Agreed. I can see him now, waiting and hoping beyond hope the Lions lose. Can't fathom people like that out. Wierdo's.
Starters: Liam Williams; Anthony Watson, Jonathan Davies, Ben Te’o, Elliot Daly; Owen Farrell, Conor Murray; Mako Vunipola, Jamie George, Tadhg Furlong; Alun Wyn Jones, George Kruis; Peter O’Mahony, Taulupe Faletau, Sean O’Brien Replacements: Ken Owens, Jack McGrath, Kyle Sinckler, Maro Itoje, Sam Warburton, Rhys Webb, Jonathan Sexton, Leigh Halfpenny I would have gone with Sexton instead of Farrell. I'd have halfpenny at full back too. He doesn't miss a kick. That could be crucial.
There's been a combined British and Irish team competing since 1888 and they've been named the British Lions since 1950, so not very new.
Have The British & Irish Lions borrowed players from the Southern Hemisphere for this game to make it a more even contest? Ben Te'o sounds like he's got a Kiwi accent. I also read somewhere that Vunipola has represented Tonga.
Ben Te'o was born in New Zealand, his dad's Samoan, his mum's English. Billy Vunipola was born in Australia, but moved to Wales as a kid and has spent almost all his life here (he hasn't played for Tonga, but his dad was their captain).
Don't tell him it is the English and Welsh cricket team as the fact they have had Scottish players will confuse him.
Now understand why the British & Irish Lions need to borrow players from the Southern Hemisphere and all come together as "one" Historically England have beaten the AB's seven times Wales three times Ireland once And Scotland have never beaten them.
