I came here from BBC's 606. edit - LOL, says you joined in 2014, I joined in 2011.... So pal, please repect your elder. Also I believe that the Merc has been the faster car over the year so far. The Ferrari has been on a couple of tracks, but over all I think the Merc is faster.
LOL. I am LewisWDC from BBC 606 and I was here in early days of Not606, all of that stuff's behind me though. Again, I've been around here longer than you. In regards to the fastest car. Put it this way. The championship table don't lie, Seb has had 4 wins and the fastest car. Lewis has had the fastest car since 2014 but your quick to call that out. It's shocking levels of bias and irrational judgement to say otherwise.
It's bias...to say lewis...has the quickest car.... says.... Lewis fanboy?.... It's true Mercedes is the quickest car but only just..
Kimi is my favourite driver I loved how didn't give 2 ****s to the sad twats booing him after the race lol
yeah,it's tight, I'd say Mercedes has the edge, without the reliability and strategy problems they'd be fairly comfortably leading the WCC.
Kimi is lucky it's not football or the crowd would have set fire to him while chanting "F1's Coming Home".
Ferrari should just keep Kimi on a rolling contract, he always performs better when he's about to be out of a seat. I'd say Mercedes edges it on outright speed this season, and then Ferrari edges it on race pace. If Mercedes can't control the race then they don't have the pace (just) to take the win.
Hamilton has said he was dumb to say what he did. Now thats an end to that. Bit of a whinge then he comes to his senses. It's only when he gets really mad at something he can stay mad about that he goes to the next level at which he is untouchable.
It's a thin line with Hamilton. He either has a full melt down and just crashes, or he becomes fast beyond belief. Only time will tell which Hamilton will appear.
Usually the good one appears at the end of the season when he is unbeatable. He just always has the mid season slump to keep us interested
If his team mate or opponent doesn't bump tyres or do something crazy then hamilton on steroids doesn't appear. Vettel set him off last year and hamilton ground him to pace. Hamilton can sulk a lot until something happens to spark him. I don't think we've seen the sulk yet.
Appreciate there is some friendly banter going on here but I am not sure I recognise the crash element in this post. He normally only crashes after he has won the WDC otherwise is it because someone drove into him or tit for tat when it was him and Rosberg. It will be mid season after the next GP, 10 raced, 10 to go. Barring car failure I reckon Vettel for Germany. Leading the title race he is less likely to be rattled.
Granted it's been a while since we had that Hamilton, but he's in there. I think it was Massa who took the brunt of the hits off him.
